In addition to her work lecturing at sports medicine conferences in the
New York area, Abby travels throughout the United States with her husband
Dave to present their AthletiSense® Communication
Essentials program to collegiate and professional athletes. AthletiSense® is a life skills
program focused on media relations training, incorporating image building
and communication skills with an emphasis on pulling off The Artful Interview.
Abby also serves as the Director of Recovery Physical Therapy, PC’s
facilities at 575 Lexington Avenue and at 30 Wall Street in Manhattan,
where she specializes in orthopaedic and sports physical therapy (PT).
After completing her undergraduate degree in pre med/physical education at
Rutgers University and her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at Duke
University, Abby owned and operated Sports Training Physical
Therapy, PC, an independent multi-site PT practice affiliated with the
Sports Training Institute (STI). While associated with STI, Abby
provided consulting services to establish many affiliated PT sites in
New York, California and New Jersey. She has had the pleasure of providing care to
countless professional and collegiate athletes, celebrities, and political figures during
her physical therapy career.

| Abby and her husband, sportscaster Dave Sims, now divide their time between Manhattan and Seattle. They have two adult sons.
